I have lived in Rancho Santa Margarita since 1986.  In 1988 I became active in local government.  Initially, with the Saddleback Area Coordinating Council.  This group was recognized by the County of Orange to review development in the greater Saddleback Valley area.  In 1989 I founded the RSM Civic Council, to address issues in this rapidly developing community. The vision of this organization was to “Work towards Self-Governance.”  I was active in the RSM Cityhood Committee working towards incorporation of Rancho Santa Margarita. 

Rancho Santa Margarita incorporated on January 1, 2000.  I was elected to the first City Council.  I have served as Mayor in 2002 and also 2006.  I was re-elected in November 2006 to my third term on the City Council.

I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency. The TCA has built 51 miles of Toll Road to serve the transportation needs of the residents of Orange County.

I have been a Realtor since 2001, representing both Buyers and Sellers to make their dreams come true.
